Would you like to rent a cottage in the Norwegian mountain?
Sylvtjønnhytta is a 125 sqm cabin for rent at Kyrkjebygdheia in Telemark.
The cabin is 750 meters above sea level, placed midway between Gautefall and Vrådal.
With 5 bedrooms, 11 + 2 beds and 2 bathrooms the cabin makes good accommodating for 2-3 families.
The cabin has 2 living rooms, large terrace, sauna, and plenty of space to 3-4 cars.
Kyrkjebygdheia is a great hiking area, both summer and winter.
60 km of ski runs pass right by the cottage, ski lift 3km from the cottage and larger ski resorts half an hour away.
The cottage is equipped for families with high chairs, cot, toys, sledges and much more.

Family activitys

Varied crosscountry ski trails and toboggan runs suitable for the whole family. Nice shelters with campfire as a destination for the family hike one kilometer from the cabin.

Crosscountry skiing

Kyrkjebygdheia has almost 60 kilometers of crosscountry skitrails. The trails are of good quality and run in scenic surroundings.

Summer hikes

There are many great hikes during the summertime, including Skornetten 883 m.a.s.l. Skornetten are three kilometers from the cabin and suitable for everyone. The area has several shelters with fireplace that are nice hiking destinations for the whole family.

Fishing

There is the possibility of trout fishing in the area. Fishing cards are purchased online and cost 50NOK for weekly cards.
Note: The trout is protected from September 15 each year due to spawning.
